"Let Freedom Ring...Memories of France"     This is the second documentary from LET FREEDOM RING. This time filmed in Normandy, France and Alsace Lorraine. It is a continuation of the compelling story of one veteran's dream to educate the youth on the costs of freedom through the stories of survivors of World War II. In this documentary George Ciampa, who landed in NORMANDY with the 607th Graves Registration Company in WW II, takes history teachers, a journalist and WW II combat veterans, who fought in Normandy, on a Teachers' Educational Tour. They were welcomed by the Normandie Memoire Association who helped with logistics. The teachers heard stories from the French civilians and also the veterans who were there during World War II.

In ALSACE LORRAINE, near the German border, tour participants spoke with French civilians and resistance fighters who lived during the Nazi occupation and heard their stories as was done in Normandy. Filming was done at the Struthof Concentration Camp which is now a museum. It was the only concentration camp in France. A commemorative visit and filming was done at the Lorraine Military Cemetery near Metz, France. It is the largest American military cemetery in Europe.
