I am anxious to view this video with my grown children and my grandchildren so they may learn more about their grandfather, John Kristich, who fought in the Battle of the Bulge with the Big Red One. He didn't talk about his experience until later in his life and tried to find other survivors so he could talk to them. He suffered from post traumatic stress syndrome until the day he died in 1994. Thank you for making this "history lesson".

Thank you for putting out these videos. My generation and my kids can never understand what the cost of our freedom is and was. The only disappointment was that the other allies were not mentioned. As a first generation Canadian I am thankful for all countries involved in fighting fascism including people of German descent.

I am a clinical psychologist who has worked 30 years in the VA with the scarred heroes of WWII and all the other wars. These DVDs are marvelous testimony to the bravery and dedication of the military men who fought in Normandy and Europe during WWII. Not to forget those who endured the war in the Pacific as well. Our youth must be shown the history of our struggle against evil so that we know the nature of the enemies of freedom. This is particularly relevant to the struggle against islamic fanaticism today. Bravo for a wonderful experience watching the documentaries.

Now that I've regained my composure, I believe that EVERY child should be required to watch both videos. We will never know what we are at risk of losing unless we hear from those who have lost it.
