PRESS THE TRIANGLE ONCE TO PLAY TRAILER
"Let Freedom Ring--Memories of France" is a new documentary that was filmed in France by Outpost Pictures.
George Ciampa, who landed in NORMANDY with the 607th Graves
Registration Company in WW II, took history teachers, a journalist and
WW II combat veterans, who fought in Normandy, on a Teachers'
Educational Tour with him July 8th - July 14th 2007. They were welcomed
by the Normandie Memoire Association who helped with logistics. The
teachers heard stories from the French civilians and also the veterans
who were there during World War II.
In ALSACE LORRAINE,
near the German border, tour participants spoke with French civilians
and resistance fighters who lived during the Nazi occupation and heard
their stories as was done in Normandy. Filming was done at the
Struthof Concentration Camp which is now a museum. It was the only concentration camp in France. A commemorative visit and filming was done at the Lorraine Military Cemetery near Metz, France. It is the largest American military cemetery in Europe.
