PROPOSAL #1:
NATIONAL PBS AIRING OF “LET FREEDOM RING” DOCUMENTARIES

        Reach a vast PBS audience with the “Let Freedom Ring--Memories of France” video filmed in France.        
        Reach a vast PBS audience with the “Let Freedom Ring” video filmed in Belgium.
 
It is proposed by American Public Television, the distribution company for PBS, to deliver an audience from 50% to 60% of the 135 PBS stations in the country translating into approximately 50 to 60 million households.
 
The message:  The price of FREEDOM.  Compelling documentaries that trace high school history teachers’ educational tours with WW II veterans to former battle sites.  The teachers hear stories from witnesses who lived during the Nazi occupation as well as from the veterans who served there.
 
A sponsor will benefit from a 15 second message before the start or at the end of the film, which will be 56 minutes duration.
 
Cost of sponsorship for broadcast: $75,000 for each video selected. Reach 50 million households at less than l.5 mils per household!
($75,000 divided by 50,000,000 households=1.5 mils  (15% of one penny)

PROPOSAL #2:
DISTRIBUTION OF “LET FREEDOM RING” DVDs WITH LESSON PLANS TO ALL CALIFORNIA HIGH SCHOOLS
 
        Reach a vast high school audience who will view the videos and lesson plans.
 
The message:  The price of FREEDOM.  Compelling documentaries that trace high school history teachers’ educational tours with WW II veterans to former battle sites.  The teachers hear stories from witnesses who lived during the Nazi occupation as well as from the veterans who served there.
 
It is proposed to reach all 2117 public high schools in California. The film will be shown in conjunction with lesson plans to students in U.S. History classes each year.
 
A sponsor will benefit from name identity on each lesson plan and DVD, which will be retained in schools’ Social Science departments to be shown in classrooms again and again.
 
Cost of sponsorship: $30,000.   $14.17 per school! This includes the cost of DVD replication, lesson plans, sponsor’s identification on the DVDs as well as lesson plans and distribution to the schools.
